What is the TradeCom Programme?

The TradeCom programme, also referred to as the TradeCom Facility, is an ACP Group Programme financed by the European Development Fund.

It is divided in three main, complementary, components, each with its specific beneficiaries and results: (1) Formulation of trade policies, (2) Trade negotiations and (3) Implementation of trade policies and international trade agreements.

• Component 1 : Formulation of trade policies
  This component deals with the enhancement of analytical and institutional capacity of ACP countries for trade policy formulation.  
    
• Component 2 : Trade negotiations
  This component seeks to promote the effective participation of ACP countries in international trade negotiations.  
    
• Component 3: Implementation of trade policies and international trade agreements
  This component deals with the strengthening of institutional capacity for implementation of trade policies and international trade agreements.
